ISBeauty #1

Hey Beauties, I am so happy to introduce my new beauty posts called #IsBeauty.
It is a skincare, beauty, and make up tips and tricks from yours truly and of course the experts.

I am so excited because I've been really interested in make up for quiet some time now.
When I was little, I used to always see my mom doing her make up before work and take her make up to play with it. Now, we share our make up, shop together and help each other apply masks.

And since I've been working, make up is becoming one of my everyday routine along with skin care.
Of course, I'm not saying that if you're working you need to wear make up but for me, personally, make up can brings out parts of my face that I want to highlight.
Someone have told me that, if you want people to pay attention when you're presenting you need to make them feel interested in your appearance. Because personality is not the first thing people see.
So, if I want to attract people's attention when I'm talking I will draw the attention to my lips, wearing colorful lips or glossy. And if I want to draw the attention to my hands when I'm instructing, I'll be wearing a red nail polish, for example.
All and all, I think make up is so much fun, I learn so much about my face and my skin and honestly, things that I was very insecure, like my face shape, I have learned to love it.

"If you love yourself, nothing can brings you down"

For skin care, I think whether you're a make up addict or not, you need to take a damn good care of your skin.
I initially want to take skin care seriously because I want to achieve a radiant, illuminating healthy skin, I think it is the key to look young. Skin care is the bomb. The downside is, it could be a pretty long journey finding out  the perfect products that suits your skin. With different skin type, and the weather, you need to take your time, do research and (unfortunately) sacrifice in spending your money. It is trully an investment for your skin, but I guarantee, it is WORTH IT.
After you figure out your beauty regime, you will have to strictly follow the routine, and enjoy the result.
It feels so good, when you see yourself in the mirror and your skin look so much better, without dead skin, pores, blackheads, whiteheads and even pimples. Who wants them? No one, not me, not you.

Disclaimer, I am not a professional make up artist or a skin care professor. All the things that I write, say or do are all based on experience, research, and knowledge from the experts.

ON TO THE ACTUAL POST, this tips and tricks are for the FLAWLESS NO MAKE UP MAKE UP.

Here is the base when I want to do a flawless no make up make up,

Before I apply my make up after I moisturize my face, I will pad on some Shiseido Eudermine. It makes my face so smooth, my make up glides on beautifully on my face, it dries on quickly, and the scent doesn't stay until it sinks in my face.  The glass bottle is fragile, so be careful. Even though it is on the pricey side, it's safe to use day and night, suitable for any skin tone, tone the skin whilst maintain the hydration and moisture, hence it doesn't dries out the skin. The bottle is huge too, 200ml 6.7fl. oz.

Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Methyl Gluceth-10, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Betaine, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Cyclodextrin, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Carbomer, Fragrance, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Xanthan Gum, Acaylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acaylate Crosspolymer, Arginine HCI, PCA, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride.

It does consist alcohol, but so far it doesn't cause any redness, flakiness, or any irritation on my face.
The fact that it's not only look luxurious, it feels luxurious on my skin is a bonus. Plus, it doesn't give me any burning sensation when I apply it as a toner like what some toner does. It makes my skin feel protected.

A rich and luminous foundation offering full coverage while hydrating and protecting the skin. So even though it looks compact, it's very pigmented (make sure to shake it before you use it). Using beauty blender or a narrow end of a sponge will help distribute the product evenly and a little goes a long way. The long-wearing foundation evens out skin tones and increases skin luminosity and clarity for a radiant glow. Its rich, creamy texture glides over the skin effortlessly giving you ample playtime for perfect application and blendability.  A special collection of silk proteins, tea extracts, and treated mica blend together to create a luxuriously hydrating foundation that leaves skin softer, smoother, and flawless. Advanced light-reflecting ingredients work to make the appearance of fine lines and imperfections disappear. Perfect for rosacea and hard to cover pigmentation. It's perfect for my combined skin because it's oil-free and ideal for all skin types. The best part yet, it provides full coverage that lasts for up to 12 hours, this foundation is ideal for special events or photography (oh hey, selfie!). The size comes in handy for travellers, it's 1.18 fl. oz. / 35 ml

3. Concealer brush, Mineral Science:
Concealer brush can be hard to find sometime, but my grand mother who takes a really good care of her skin, gave me the best one yet. Sadly, I can't find any Mineral Science site, so if you know please leave a comment below :) Anyway, this brush works wonderfully for my under eye area. I like the bristles of the brush because it blends flawlessly, no one wants harsh lines, right ladies? I even use it for outlining whilst contouring.

4. Clinique Superbalanced Powder:
Clinique's Superbalanced Powder Makeup SPF 15 keeps dry areas comfortable, oily areas less shiny. Fresh-shaved mineral powder with skin-defending vitamins stays put for up to 8 long hours. Fresh-shaved meaning, we twist the cover clockwise just like when we sharpen our pencils, don't worry, it's safe and friendly to use. It doesn't caked, so I must say, it's one of the best loose powder. And it wont make a hot mess out of your vanity. It comes with its own antibacterial brush. Even though it feels scratchy, the brush is slim, perfect for T-zone. And since the foundation is already full coverage, this powder is perfect with medium coverage that gives healthy-radiant glow.  It's sized in 63 oz. 18 gm.

Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 6.3%, Other: Talc, Mica, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Zinc Stearate, Zinc Laurate, Dimethicone, Bentonite, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone, Crosspolymer, Silica, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Glycerin, Lauroyl Lysine, Astrocaryum Murumuru Seed Butter, Squalane, Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Lecithin, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Magnesium Myristate, Coconut Acid, Water, Tetrasodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued, for alternative I would recommend MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder for similar products.

That's it for your flawless healthy looking luminous skin, have fun!
